Logan County Animal Haven (LCAH) is a non profit 501c3 animal rescue located in Logan County Ohio. Our mission is dedicated to the elimination of exploitation of animals by abiding by established laws for the prevention of animal cruelty in our community through investigation, education and media attention on the importance and responsibility of pet ownership. LCAH will strive for solutions to control the pet population by providing affordable spay and neuter clinics and by mutual cooperative. We will work closely with like societies in surrounding areas to promote the best environment possible to the animals.

The Logan County Animal Haven is so excited to announce that we will be able to assist people in need of dog food. We have had so many wonderful groups step up and offer to furnish us with food that we are happy to share. Our goal is to keep owners and their amazing companions together. Minutes
(MINUTES FOR MAY 1, 2017)
Dana Fullerton opened the meeting with a prayer.
Cindy Himler read minutes from the last meeting and treasurer's report. No changes. Accepted as read.
New Business:
Ideas for website were discussed. It was decided to add minutes to the website, financial records will be offered on website upon request. Links will be added for adoption applications on website. Future Events will be added on website.
Erica discussed the car being donated. Looks good, going to hear it run. We will be looking into selling it or doing a raffle. Tim has graciously offered to store it for us.
Kittens Update: Litters are about to be ready for adoption. They will be spayed and neutered and UTD on shots before adoption. We have several applications going out for adoptions. Cindy will be sending out applications as well as setting up home visits.
Erica gave a report on t-shirts and flyers should be done by end of next week.
Pet-Valu has agreed to allow us to set up cats for adoption as long as they are 8 weeks old, spayed/neutered, FELV/FIV tested, and UTD on shots. Insurance umbrella policy will need to be put in place first. They also have "paw prints" to use as a fundraiser. Board of Directors will be meeting with the County Commissioners on Tuesday, May 16 @ 2pm to give them a update on our progress.
CIndy read a letter from a local Sunday school class who decided to use their offering one week to further our cause.
We will have a booth at Fetch A Friend Saturday, June 10 and Saturday, June 11at the Ohio State Fairgrounds. We will need help to run the booth.
It was decided that we would not man the gate at the Logan County Fair in July and would instead look to get a booth or just hand out flyers and meet people on big draw days.
It was announced that adoption fees would be voted on at board meeting immediately following this meeting.
Fundraising ideas: Go fund me is up to $170. Bowling fundraiser in late June. Tim Shaw is heading this event. We will make money from each bowler, raffles, 50/50 drawing, matching funds, donations, bake sales, date is tentatively set for June 24.
Board will be meeting with owners of the Marketplace on Friday, May 12 @ 6:15p to discuss fundraiser there.
Deb Anderson is checking on us doing St. Mary's festival in the woods. Cindy gave an update on meeting with attorney Jeff Holland. We are looking to do a spay/neuter clinic in late fall. Deb anderson is working on Howl-O-Ween Party and Dana will be checking on the availability of Southview Park, it will be put on website and Facebook. A Woof Walk fundraiser was also discussed.

Where do Logan County's Dogs go?
The stray and lost dogs of Logan County are currently transported to the Union County Humane Society by the Logan County Dog Warden.
